Pilgrim is hosting a Food Drive, and we need your help. We’re collecting pantry-stable breakfast items, meats, and hearty soups to share with families in need.
Drop your donations in the Clemson or Carolina bin any time between now and November 23.
All donated items will be blessed before our Thanksgiving Lunch on November 23. Thank you for helping make a difference in our community!

Pilgrim’s Thanksgiving Lunch will be held on Sunday, November 23, after Worship. This cherished tradition is a time to gather as one church family, share a meal, and give thanks for all of God’s blessings.
Let’s come together in gratitude and fellowship. See you there!

Our Lutheran Men in Mission are preparing for a special outreach this Christmas season!
On Sunday, December 7, the group will visit House of Peace, a local ministry that provides meals, shelter, and spiritual support to men experiencing homelessness and hardship.
That day, our group will serve a meal, share in worship, and present Christmas gifts of men’s hygiene products to those we meet.
We’re asking for donations of men’s deodorant, razors, shaving cream, soap, shampoo, lotion, and toothpaste. Please bring your donations to the church by Sunday, November 30.

Everyone is welcome to join us for a festive evening filled with holiday cheer!
Saturday, December 6 at 5:00 p.m.

Activities for all ages!
Children are invited to bring non-perishable food items for Pilgrim’s Pantry. They’ll present their donations to St. Nicholas and receive a special goody bag in return—a wonderful way to share the spirit of giving this season.
Bring your family, invite your neighbors, and enjoy a relaxed evening together as we celebrate the season with laughter, creativity, and community spirit.
We hope to see you there!

Presentation and Discussion of the book, “The Anxious Generation,” by Jonathan Haidt
Sunday, January 25, 2026, 4 p.m.
Our book group presenter will be Dr. Ari Frede, who currently works in the Chicago Public School District, the fourth largest district in the U.S.
Ari works to help communities and schools navigate their way to their long-term goals. He will share a balanced critique of this book that many parents are reading for guidance in raising children in a digital age. Then, he’ll be joined by a panel from various disciplines who will share their experiences. Those in attendance will also be able to weigh in with questions and comments.
